Our Story

Perfect Paddles was first conceived in 2010 as a one-stop, online destination for all things SUP related and specifically as an aid to help modern, seafaring, stand up paddle boarders find the best spots, with the best gear, offered by the most experienced paddle Pros with ease.

Perfect Paddles was able to grow alongside the sport naturally and organically. Beginning as a SUP school, Paddle Method in Los Angeles, California the sport had time to grow alongside the learning curve of the paddling community. As more paddlers learned more skills and began paddling in more places, some setting up shops all over the world, an ever growing list of “recommended spots” grew into the online super tool long ago envisioned.

From day one, the mission has remained the same - help the SUP community grow through the knowledge and experience of the passionate paddle professional instructor, coaches, and guides who make it their job to know. It is the passion of these SUP Pro's who paddle their home break day after day, season after season, sharing their local knowledge with the paddle enthusiasts of the world, so that any and all abilities could find their next step on the learning curve and could grow their skills and see the world from a paddle board.

We are the SUP instructor's of the world biggest fans and our aim is to be the home base for all of their accumulated wisdom for anyone to access.

We hope you find Perfect Paddles a resource you can come back to again and again to plan your next SUP safari, Eco-tour, community SUP social paddle, SUP yoga, multi-day excursion, retreats, or even just gear rental.

We aim to inspire your next paddle adventure around the world or in your hometown.  For all those who feel the call of the water,  stay safe and paddle on!
