Learn how to stand up paddle and have lessons at Jono’s Watersports, an ASI accredited school, located at St Brelades Bay, on the Isle of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Just 19 miles (or 30.5 km) from the French coast and 85 miles (137 km) south of the English coast.
Jono’s Watersports is owned and operated by Jonathan Steventon. He has over 30 years' experience of the sea and beach-based activities and is a keen and talented windsurfer, surfer, sailor, waterskier, kayaker, mountain biker and all-round athlete. He started suppin in 2008 and also competes in SUP races.
Jono holds ASI Level 1 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water) and Level 2 Instructor (Exposed Waters) and a range of other instructor qualifications including RYA (Sailing) Principal Level 1, 2. Windsurfing Instructor Level 1,2,3, Surfing Coach Level 1, Kayak Instructor Level 2, powerboat, first aid and beach lifeguard.
He is assisted in the SUP school by ASI qualified instructors holding rescue and first aid qualification.
Jono’s Watersports offers group and private SUP lessons, team building, and fitness workouts for kids, adults, parties, school groups, hens & stags parties. Summers camps are also available for kids.
The school has expertise in conducting corporate functions of up to 200 people with packages including activities, accommodation, food and transport.
Other water activities are also on offer and include kayaking, sailing, wind sailing, coastal walks and tours.

It is the ideal location to stand up paddle. It is sheltered from the weather, with safe and calm waters. Take learn to stand up paddle lessons, or tours into the bays along the coast. You can even partake in SUP fitness sessions, whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. After the session, visit and relax in the local famous cafes.
