Perfect Paddles Recommendation: Salmon Bay has a ton to offer! But one of our favorites has to be their Tug Surfing on the Puget Sound. They explain on their site, "Waves can vary from waist to chest high and go a half-mile or longer depending on the type of board or boat you’re using your surfing skills, and conditions."
Closest City: Seattle
Signature Service: SUP Surfing
Environment: Bay/Ocean
Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Seattle for SUP has to be during the summer season. The fall and winter in Seattle tends to be chilly and can add challenges to even the most avid SUP enthusiast.
Distance from Airport: About a 30-minute drive from Seattle International Airport

If you're paddling in the Pacific Northwest, it's imperative you're sufficiently geared to make the best out of your paddle and maximize safety - Here are some recommendations:
Dry suits only keep you warm from the insulation you add underneath and being dry. But it’s not 100% dry as sweating can be a factor. If you're looking for a quality dry suit check out the NRS Pivot Drysuit
A proper wetsuit for the season. Fall/Winter - For several years now I’ve been loving the the top-entry hooded, seam sealed and fleece lined RipCurl FlashBomb 5/4mm.
For Summer paddling, I use the hoodless and back zip RipCurl Dawn Patrol 4/3mm which has the dam and some of the fleecy FlashBomb material in the chest / back areas. It’s been great for SUP and surf skiing. I can add a hooded vest over to bump the heat up if needed.
If you don’t get an attached hood, look into the NRS Storm Cap which is wind proof and fleece lined. Very toasty!
A great PFD(Personal flotation device) - I like the Mustang Survival Vest
This model in particular has:- mesh shoulders offering more mobility and comfort
- reflective tape and bright color making you easier to spot in the event you need help
- dual velcro front pockets and dual side adjustments for a comfortably fit
