Stand Up Paddling (SUP) is a new, fast growing water sport originating from Hawaii in the 1950s. It is safe and easy to learn, and Singapore is the perfect location, thanks to its calm, warm waters and endless summer. The practice of SUP is excellent for core training and fitness, rehabilitation, even yoga and pilates on water. Learning the fundamentals of SUP helps performance in other water sports, including windsurfing, surfing, wakeboarding and dragon boating.
The SUP School was created in 2012 by Isabelle Malique-Park, a certified SUP Instructor (Professional Stand Up Association or PSUPA, USA) and Life Saver. We offer a full range of SUP activities - rental, beginner and advanced classes, fitness/yoga/pilates on water, weekly group paddling (pods), parties, corporate events and teambuilding.Mission: to promote Stand Up Paddling as a new, easy, affordable, fitness effective and safe water sport in Singapore and to add it to the local and regional landscape, bringing people to water and educating on preservation and environmental concerns.
