Hi Nicole, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I started off five years ago as a paddle board instructor as SUP was taking off
as a new watersport. The company quickly expanded into an eco tour company
providing rentals, lessons and tours through Southwest Florida.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience with paddleboarding
I love paddle boarding!! I have been paddle boarding for over ten years now.
I quickly fell in love with the sport and I love showing people how to paddle
board. It’s a joy to watch people learn how to stand up paddle and fall in love
with the sport. I am a certified paddle board instructor with PaddleFit and ASI. I
am also a Florida Master Naturalist certified in Coastal, Freshwater and Upland
ecosystems. Every trip is a learning experience for participants and a fun time
on the water.

Location Overview - Tell us about your water environment
We launch into coastal bays and lagoons close to the Gulf of Mexico. These
areas are exposed waterways however they are protected by mangrove trees.
Therefore these areas are protected from winds and strong currents. The South
Lido Key in Sarasota also provides protection from motorized vessels. These
protections make this area the safest place to learn how to paddle board and
kayak.

What services do you offer?
Seashore Eco Tours offers kayak and paddle board lessons, rentals, and eco
tours daily. Paddle Board Yoga is available and the schedule changes
seasonally.

Can you tell us some interesting notes about the area?
The South Lido Nature Park features seasonal views of manatees. There’s a
large population in this area due to the freshwater springs in a bayou close to our
launch area. Manatees can be viewed in warm water months as the manatees
migrate to warmer waters in winter months. This area also features an extensive
canopy mangrove trail. Participants are able to explore this area daily on their
own or with an eco tour guide.
